About the Garden
Garden History
St. John’s Community Garden was established in 2009 as a vibrant ministry of the congregation. In our first spring and summer, we were astonished with the bountiful harvest of food and new friendships that sprang up.
We are now in the middle of our second growing season, and we love to partner with neighbors, Durham residents, and community organizations to spread the impact of our garden. Please contact Rev. Amanda Diekman to talk about ways to get involved or use our online sign-up form!
